Terrence Roche, Ph.D.

Founder and Lead Consultant

Dr. Terrence Roche is a seasoned organizational leader with over two decades of experience advancing strategic innovation to help purpose-driven organizations improve outcomes. He specializes in strategic planning, product/program design, professional learning, and building capacity of leaders and teams to develop and deliver high-impact solutions.

  • Terrence has served as faculty for the last decade in a nationally ranked graduate school (#5 - U.S. News & World Report 2024-2025). He has designed and delivered five highly rated courses integrating research in strategy, leadership, change management, organizational culture, and data & performance for the MS in Learning and Organizational Change Program, MS in Social & Economic Policy and the Philanthropy and Nonprofit Organizations Certificate Program. Master’s students most often pursue consulting careers.

  • Terrence has worked for national nonprofit organizations, including YMCA of the USA and Start Early, as well as an association management company where he has led the development of the organization-wide strategy and priority initiatives while providing management to the following functions: Strategy, Operations, Communications, Education & Professional Development, IT, Customer Service, and Facilities/Office Services.

  • Terrence has held various leadership positions within national nonprofits where he has led organizational strategy & planning, product design & development, program evaluation, and financial development.

  • Dissertation Title: Inclusive Leadership & Strategic Decision-Making in Cross-Identity Contexts

    Terrence earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Adler University where the mission is to graduate socially responsible practitioners, engage communities and advance social justice. Particularly, this PhD program helps students explore solution-building for complex social challenges, gain an understanding of socially conscious organizational leadership, and learn how to critically analyze research and data for the strategic and ethical implementation of organizational or societal initiatives.
